Rudy’s view of the zoo…

Things are relatively peaceful in these parts so thankfully there’s not much to report.  We had a quiet weekend where we stayed close to home, which isn’t so bad when your home is close to the beach and the zoo.  The big kids enjoyed Saturday afternoon out in the surf.  Since Rudy seemed so excited by the ducks, we thought he’d really enjoy a stop at the zoo on Sunday.  Turns out he wasn’t all that excited.  Then we realized that, regardless of what species might have been before us, this was pretty much the view from his stroller:

Sorry, Rudy.

  1. Yeah, I agree…..not too exciting, Rudy!
Have you ever read Rudy the book called “Always Lots of Heinies at the Zoo” by Ayun Halliday?!?!? Might be a good one to pick up…lol

  2. Hey Rudy and family… we’d love to meet you at our ZOO sometime. I’ll get those people to move out of your way so you can see. I’m sure you had fun. Praying for you always. Hugs and kisses.

  3. It’s all about location, location, location — Rudy your stroller needs a car lift or something! Kudos to your parents for trying that trip to the zoo. Guess they can stick with the walk over to the nearby lake for the duck show. It is good your reactions can get out the message you want them to hear! Love you, little guy, you are genuine, that is for sure!

  4. Hey – I didn’t even know you could get material like that. I’m sure the lady wearing that dress doesn’t have a full length mirror at home.

You guys are wonderful to make your lives fun and happy for your family and it helps us to be thankful for every good and perfect gift that comes from our FATHER.

We keep on with our prayers for you.
