He’s Back…

It’s 6:30pm and our little man is back safely in his room…tucked snugly in his crib.  It went well…Dr. Dan called me from the lab when he finished to tell me that everything looks good.  The good news is that things look good for the Glenn surgery…the bad news is that everything looks good and there isn’t anything they can “fix”…no, actually, that’s good news too it just means we’re back to waiting with no real answers as to why he isn’t getting better faster.  But those are considerations for tomorrow…right now, I’m just glad he’s back and we’ll focus now on getting a good night’s rest.

  1. Glad to hear Rudy is safely tucked in for the night! I hope that you will both have a good night’s rest!

  2. Good night Rudy and sweet dreams.

We are sending you a lot of love and continued prayers. Glad all went well today and will keep praying for the improvement we are all hoping for.
    Hugs and kisses.

  3. We just keep trusting…trusting…and He will direct the path! You are in our prayers–sweet dreams Trish, Rudy, Rolf, Livy, Wilson and Max!

  4. I have always thought that the second child was the “character builder” in most families. The one who tested and pushed the most. It looks like we are all learning patience and flexibility from Sir Rudy, though not by his own actions. We are so glad Rudy came thru the cath so well and we’ll keep praying that he fills up and gets stronger. Thanks for sharing Rudy and the rest of your family with “the blog world” as Grandma Jo calls it.

  5. Rolf, Trish & Family, I have been reading your blog almost daily for many weeks. My heart breaks for Rudy and what you all are going through. Reading your plight has also helped me realize what I have to be thankful for. I also have a new baby boy, born on Oct. 22nd. I just can’t find the words to express all the emotions I have. I pray for you all and Rudy often. Stay strong. BTW, we are friends with Alex & Teresa. Tori and our daughter are friends and were born 12 hours apart. Blessings!

  6. Good morning Trish and Rolf. Remember “His mercies are new every morning” Today is a new day. You are in my prayers today as always. With Love and care

  7. Good morning, this is the day the Lord has made and I will REJOICE in it! Wonderful news about Rudy’s procedure. Get strong Rudy, get strong in the name of Jesus. Love and hugs to you. XOXO Love, Cousin Dianna
