So, we got the call to report to admit at 8am tomorrow morning and Rudy’s procedure is scheduled for 10am!! Woo hoo!! As I waited to hear back from UCLA, I couldn’t help but pull out all of our trach supplies and pack them away in faith that Rudy wouldn’t be needing them after tomorrow! π It’s a bit surreal and Rolf & I have nervous tummies tonight but we’re definitely excited….Olivia put it all together and said enthusiastically “Without the trach, Rudy can get baptized!”. Indeed, he can…and so much more!
We’ll keep “The Beat” posted with the latest tomorrow….thank you friends!
YAY, Rudy! YAY, God! YAY Geylings. Praying for all of you and so excited for you, too.
Prayers for success are the “mantra”. Praying without ending!!!
(PS: Livie’s remark about Rudy being baptized promptly brought me to tears…)
And he can wear his first official non-trach shirt from the Westmont baseball team π Praying for your family and the medical team!
It’s almost celebration time! Life is good.
Praying for all of you this morning!
Good morning, dear hearts! Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, you are so deserving of the opportunities that will be yours after that “ole”
trach is gone and healing is in the past. And, no more “noose” around your neck. PTL
Amen! YAY! I, too burst into tears on Livy’s comment. And after watching the “Daddy… WALK!” Video, there is nothing stopping my hero. Praying for success and peace. Go Rudy Go!
xoxo Michele
